Our beautiful mountain resort is nestled among the largest stand of Ponderosa pines in the world. Our resort is surrounded by 57 natural fishing lakes and nature's wildlife is bountiful. The Pinetop Lakeside area surrounding
our mountain resort also boasts major golf courses, snowmobiling, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and tennis, as well as antique, gift and fashion shops. The area also hosts a variety of dining cuisine
for all tastes.
Neighbors to the east of our resort, the White Mountain Apache Reservation covers 1,664,874 acres of beautiful tall pine forest and sparkling lakes. Skiing enthusiasts will delight in Sunrise Park Resort, which is fast becoming
one of the country's finest ski resorts. As well as a variety of winter snow sports, Sunrise offers year 'round activities such as hiking, mountain biking and fishing. You can also enjoy area festivals and the White Mountain
Apache Tribe's Hon-Dah Casino.
Another of Mother Nature's most awesome creations is just south of our mountain resort on US Highway 60. The Salt River Canyon is referred to by some locals as "the mini Grand Canyon".
